The editor has chronic man-flu, this despite being inoculated against the virus (he is in an at risk group, a protected species). Also the sub-editor has 66 per cent of her young children likewise ill. Hector, as is customary at this time of year, is asleep in front of an open fire and shows no sign of active political research.
