Peter's predictions

By Sarah-Jane Hollands, Political forecasting editor.

.
It would appear our esteemed editor, Peter Troy's political prediction of major changes in British politics during 2006 is indeed occuring.
.
On General Election night, (05-05-05), live on BBC Radio Cleveland, Peter was tossed into a den of wild specialy invited lefties at Broadcasting House in Middlesbrough (read more on that here ). Just after he was verbally assaulted by a cursing dog-collarless vicar, Peter predicted that: '' by this time next year the Conservative, Lib-Dem and Labour parties will have changed their leaders.
.
Thus as events came to pass we now know there was a strong link between the crowning of the boy-king of the Tory party in December and the mutiny that brought down the Lib-Dem leader Charles Kennedy.
.
Kennedy's political sloth which rendered the Lib-Dem turf wide open to the audacious invasion by the Cameron Tories - who in the past three weeks have given a demonstration in how to attack Mr Blair on his left flank.
.
Oh well, two down and one to go !

I remember Radio Cleveland's election broadcast well - poor Peter thrown in with those lefties - they were savaged!
