UKIP Hokey Cokey

"You put your whole self in.....your whole self out.......in, out, in, out......"
.
Perhaps Petrina Holdsworth had been listening to that old childhood favourite, the Hokey Cokey.
.
First she was the UKIP Chairman. Then, last friday, she resigned. Then, on Sunday, she withdrew her resignation.
.
In an astonishing about face, she has resigned for the second time in four days, due it would appear, to internal wrangling and ego struggles.
Mrs Holdsworth complained that a deal made with the party leader which would have resulted in the Deputy Leader resigning soon after the party conference showed no signs of being honoured.
.
.
The editor of this blogs comments, based upon his knowledge of the protaganists would take up more space than the issue deserves.
.
This public show of disunity in the middle of the Conservative Party conference and literally days before UKIP's own conference, is hardly going to help the party present a showing of togetherness and strength at a crucial time. As for policy development, hopefully the next Chairman (person) of UKIP will understand the need and act accordingly.
.
Indeed.
